Privacy policy

Thoughtline does not collect your maps. They are stored on your device and nowhere else. We have no server that holds them, and no way to read them.

What stays on your device

Every map, topic, note, folder and setting you create is written to storage private to the app on your phone or tablet. Deleting the app deletes that data.

What leaves your device, and only when you ask

• Exports and shares. When you tap Share and pick a format, the file is handed to whichever app you choose. Where it goes after that is up to you and that app.
• Purchases. Buying Thoughtline Pro goes through Google Play or the App Store. We never see your payment details; we only receive whether the purchase succeeded.

What we do not do

• No accounts, and no sign-in required to use the app.
• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
• No analytics or crash reporting that carries your content.
• No selling or sharing of personal data. There is none to sell.
• No tracking across other apps or websites.

Permissions

Thoughtline asks for nothing at launch. If you add an image to a topic, the system photo picker is used, which hands us only the picture you chose and needs no storage permission.

Children

Thoughtline is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes materially, the app will say so in What's New rather than quietly updating this page.
